What is covered?
Installation of New Garage Doors and Openers
For installation of a new garage door, this warranty covers defects in workmanship. The garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty to you for the door. Lowell Overhead Door will correct any defect in workmanship. All parts of a newly installed garage door including Rollers, Pulleys, Springs and Cable carry a 1 Year Warranty. Nylon rollers carry a lifetime warranty.
For installation of a new Liftmaster opener or a pre-existing opener such as a Craftsman or Genie purchased by you, the homeowner, this warranty covers defects in workmanship. Liftmaster provides its own separate warranty to you for its parts.
For repairs to an existing garage door, this warranty covers all parts including Springs, Cable, Rollers and Pulleys up to one year. Lowell Overhead Door will repair, or if repair is not possible, we will replace any defective part we installed at no charge for materials or labor if within one year of installation. Nylon Rollers carry a lifetime warranty.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty begins when repairs or any installation are complete. This warranty cannot be transferred. For repairs to an existing garage door, the warranty on workmanship is 5 years and one year on parts. For a new garage door installation, the warranty continues for as long as the manufacturer's warranty continues on the garage door. This warranty terminates if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door.
What Is Not Covered?
If anyone other than Lowell Overhead Door works on any warranted part, then that part is no longer covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than Lowell Overhead Door.
This warranty does not cover problems caused by abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear or Acts of God.
